MIPIM 2011
Business Birmingham showcased some of the city’s most exciting developments this March at MIPIM, the world's largest property and developer conference, meeting with over 900 international investors throughout the week.
MIPIM is the world’s leading real estate event and brings together influential decision makers and investors, presenting a range of development and investment opportunities. The 2011 event attracted over 18,600 real estate decision-makers representing 6,400 companies and 90 countries including 4,000 key investors, major developers, local authorities and property professionals.
The Birmingham Events
The events programme was put together to demonstrate that Birmingham leads the agenda on innovative and sustainable city planning, showcasing the city’s low carbon plans to influential investors and senior decision-makers at a variety of events where delegates were able to meet some of Birmingham’s leading companies.
With 14 events and over 20 speakers across the four days other Birmingham events covered improving digital and physical connectivity and delivering iconic projects in a challenging economy.
Highlights
Business Birmingham developed a comprehensive media relations campaign, designed to promote Birmingham as a thought leader on sustainable building and low carbon development issues – hot topics for the property and developer community in 2011.
