Birmingham Research Park
Birmingham Research Park is a joint venture between The University of Birmingham and Birmingham City Council. It is based in Edgbaston directly adjacent to the main University campus and the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The Research Park offers purpose built accommodation to new and early stage companies and projects, particularly to those seeking to work with the University in research, development and training in order to encourage growth of technology or knowledge-based companies.
The Research Park attracts companies specialising in biotechnology, medical diagnostics, healthcare and scientific instruments.
Site features:
- Access to the Munrow Sports Centre, the University libraries (including the Barnes Medical Library) and various leisure facilities of the University of Birmingham on preferential terms
- Initial business advice and introductions to specialist financial and business advisers
- Parking on site for staff and visitors at no additional charge
- Birmingham Research Park is a founder member of the United Kingdom Science Park Association
