Campuses:
The University of Birmingham has two campuses located near to the city centre providing state of the art facilities and excellent learning environment for their students.
The Edgbaston campus: The Edgbaston campus sits within 250 acres of parkland, boasting a mixture of eye catching late-Victorian, Edwardian and modern buildings including the University clock tower. Every amenity needed is on hand with bars, shops, a hair salon, concert hall and two major banks on campus. Edgbaston campus is even home to a world-renowned art gallery The Barber Institute, a geology museum and a beautiful botanical garden. It is the only university in the UK to have its own railway station, just stops away from the city centre.
The Selly Oak campus: This campus is much smaller and the 80 acre site provides a village atmosphere in the middle of Selly Oak, only 2 miles from Edgbaston. The Selly Oak campus is home to the Graduate Institute of Theology and Religion, the Selly Oak Visual Arts Centre and the BBC Drama Village – an organisation providing students with exciting opportunities to work with TV professionals.
