Arcadis set to take 25,000 sq ft prime new office space in Birmingham

Arcadis will be reinforcing its position across the West Midlands by taking 25,000 sq ft of new Grade A office space in the newly redeveloped Cornerblock building. Formerly known as Two Cornwall Street, the space is situated in the Colmore Business District at the heart of Birmingham city centre. 

Arcadis will occupy two-floors within the building, with a dedicated entrance and reception space. The new premises will bring together approximately 330 Arcadians, uniting staff formerly based at Baskerville House and Aston Cross Business Village offices to realise the full potential of a combined business with shared-expertise across all sectors and capabilities. 

The uniquely renovated property features a modern, open place design with collaborative space and flexible work stations.  The top floor is home to Birmingham’s largest roof terrace, while additional facilities throughout the building aim to encourage a more flexible work/life balance and sustainable lifestyle, including a state-of-the-art gym, bicycle-storage, changing facilities and training equipment.  The building is also extremely energy efficient, having been granted the highest Grade A EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating.

The new premises will be taken on the basis of a ten-year lease and Arcadis staff will relocate from their current offices at Baskerville House in June. Arcadis was represented in the deal by Colliers.
