Arup reports record intake of new starters

Arup, the engineering and design consultancy, has welcomed 36 new graduates and 10 apprentices to its Midlands Campus the largest number of graduates and apprentices in the last decade.

This year’s bumper intake of new recruits, totalling 46 engineers and specialists, joined the firm this week as part of its annual graduate intake.

The new graduates and apprentices will be working across a variety of high profile projects both locally and nationally. Key clients in region include HS2 Ltd, Highways England and Birmingham City Council.

Arup continues to recruit staff at all level as the range and scale of projects delivered by the firm grows. Following the new graduate appointments, the firm’s Midlands office in Blythe Valley Park in Solihull now exceeds 700, with new staff joining regularly.
