Bruntwood launches flagship Cornerblock building
Bruntwood’s Cornerblock building was officially launched last night (Wednesday, June 27th) setting a new standard for workspace in the city. The building, in the heart of the Colmore Business District is already fully let, less than 12 months after completion.
Previously called Two Cornwall Street, Bruntwood, in partnership with award-winning Glenn Howells Architects, carried out a £14 million redevelopment of the nine-storey, 110,000 sq ft building, which led it to be the first building in Birmingham to officially achieve an ‘A rated’ EPC.
Businesses that have chosen to make Cornerblock their home are: design consultancy firm, Arcadis, which has taken the whole of the first and second floors; specialist insurance company, Beazley; international design, engineering and environmental consultancy, Ramboll; law firm, Slater & Gordon; private medical practice, BHSF; independent property investment and development company, Key Land Capital PLC; technology recruitment consultancy, Rethink Group; HS2 contractors, Fusion JV and LM JV; office refurbishment contractors, Paragon PLC; engineering services company, FHP ESS; and specialist finance brokerage, Finance 4 Business.

Cornerblock also boasts the city’s largest private roof terrace to encourage collaboration and networking between customers, as well as a free-to-use gym, showers and secure bike storage to support customers who to cycle to work.
