Drayton Manor Park and ORB to create ‘Little Moments’ together this summer

  • Midlands brand agency has delivered a national project for the Tamworth theme park
  • ‘Little Moments’ is now live across TV, radio and online and will run throughout the summer
  • New project gave the agency an opportunity to showcase the region

Midlands branding agency ORB has unveiled a new national advertising campaign for theme park Drayton Manor Park, which is now live across TV, radio and online.

The ‘Little Moments’ campaign follows a family having fun on their day out at the theme park and showcases many of its 100 attractions, eateries, Thomas Land, zoo and their four-star hotel. The adverts will feature across the nation including on ITV, Sky, Disney and Cartoon Network.

ORB, based in Alpha Tower in Birmingham, secured the brief to create and project manage the campaign, which will run in 10 and 30 second spots throughout the busy summer period.

The work was so well received when initially shown to bosses at Drayton Manor Park that the concept has been adapted and rolled out across national radio and online channels, and the advert’s soundtrack will also be used on the park’s customer service booking line.

Alexa Hickling, Head of Sales and Marketing at Drayton Manor Park, said:

“‘Little Moments’ is our huge summer campaign that will run throughout the busy holiday period. We wanted to capture the wide variety of attractions and experiences at the park and the amazing memories that can be made here.

This region has a great offering for visitors locally and further afield and we are proud to be contributing to that. We can’t wait for people to view and hear the ads and want to come and see it for themselves.

“ORB is undoubtedly one of the most creative agencies in the region and we’ve wanted to work on a project with them for some time.

We threw a challenge at the team to distil the essence of the park into short adverts and they more than rose to the occasion, delivering some incredible work.”

As a Birmingham-based agency with an all-local workforce, ORB saw the advert as an opportunity to showcase one of their favourite local attractions, and promote the region as a great place for families across the UK to visit during the summer holidays.

Anna Assinder, Brand Manager at ORB and Project Manager for the campaign, said:

“This project was not only a lot of fun as we got to work in a brilliant theme park for a few days, but it also shows the creativity and determination we have for delivering stand out work for our clients.

The team here never stands still and constantly challenges each another to produce innovative ideas alongside thought-through concepts – this was especially important for Drayton Manor Park as it has such a variety of great elements that we needed to highlight.

This approach is why we were able to turnaround the project quickly and creatively without compromising on the quality and delivery.”

Founded in 2004 by Rob Bloxham, ORB employs a team of 15 specialists creating high impact brand work for clients across the region and internationally.

The agency is committed to promoting the Midlands’ through its work with clients including Marketing Birmingham, Retail Birmingham and TedXBrum.
