Freeths announce another successful year

250 (5)Top 60 UK law firm Freeths LLP has announced another consecutive year of growth, with turnover for the current year increasing to £72 million.

Freeths’ management board recognise these figures are only achievable by all members of staff putting in a great deal of hard work and commitment over the past 12 months and as a result, all staff will be rewarded with a bonus payment in May.

The Birmingham office of Freeths is now their third largest by turnover and has had a number of recent senior staff hires including Louise Wilson as a dispute resolution partner, Jason Richards as a commercial partner and John Craig as senior Immigration manager. With 11 offices across the UK, Freeths has a presence in the majority of the main cities and has seen staff numbers increase from 683 in 2015 to a current total of 784. The firm has a client base ranging from local businesses and public sector organisations to national and international household names.

Notable highlights include the firm being named ‘Corporate Law Firm of the Year’ at 2016’s Dealmakers awards.

Freeths, which promotes ‘Doing the Right Thing’ as one of its core values, also recently achieved its highest ranking in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for, at number 50. It was also accredited as a best company 2017, receiving a 2 star rating. The firm has been recognised widely for its diversity over the past few years, winning ‘Firm of the Year’ at the UK Diversity Legal Awards and receiving a highly commended Award for ‘Inclusive Recruitment’ at the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI) Awards.
