Getting the skills my business needs to grow: A Higher Level Skills Match Workshop – 19th June
This Higher Level Skills Match Workshop is for SME’s seeking to develop a further understanding of business growth, the issues faced during growth and how to ensure you’re better equipped to make good business decisions.
This workshop has been developed in collaboration with Birmingham City University, Aston University and Newman University and is part funded by the European Social Fund.
The workshop will focus on three key areas:
- Understanding Business Growth – understanding what key elements are required for sustained growth and how these can be implemented into your business.
- Crisis Avoidance – understanding the risks associated with business growth and how this can lead to business failure. The session will also focus on how you can detect and plan to manage the risks as and when they rise.
- Brain Adaptive Leadership – increasing awareness as well as helping managers develop further their leadership capabilities by focusing on applied brain and behavioural science.
There will also be an opportunity in the day to have your business questions answered by academics.
To be eligible to attend, you must be an SME located in the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) area, and have a Charter signed as part of the HLSM project. For more information about the event or the HLSM project, please contact [email protected].
