IM Properties bags further big brands for Bromsgrove
IM Properties (IMP) has confirmed that Home Bargains and The Food Warehouse will join Lidl at its Bromsgrove Retail Park.
With all three retailers set to be open by Christmas, the Birmingham Road site is almost fully occupied, with talks underway with two leisure operators to take the last remaining unit.
Harry Goodman, IMP’s asset manager said,
“We’re extremely pleased to bring these retailers to Bromsgrove to sit alongside Lidl, who we signed at the beginning of the year.
“We believe all three will create a significant economic boost to the town centre, drawing shoppers not only from the immediate catchment area, but further afield too.”
IM Properties £4 million redevelopment of the prime Bromsgrove site has enhanced the overall look of the retail park and made it more user friendly for shoppers, with improved parking and access.
“IM Properties is always looking to create best in class schemes, which are sustainable and enhance the offering to the local community.
“We’ve committed substantial time and resources to attract the right quality occupiers and we believe a strong mix has now been achieved, which will help secure its long term future.”
Food Warehouse is set to open its doors on October 30.
Warwickshire based IM Properties is one of the UK’s largest privately owned property companies and has a significant proportion of its £900m portfolio invested in the Midlands.
Mell Square Shopping Centre in Solihull and Blythe Valley Business Park, off J4 of the M42, are two of its most notable schemes in the region.
