Lightbox Digital moves to new offices in Birmingham’s historic St Paul’s Square
Fast-growing digital agency Lightbox has relocated to new offices in Birmingham’s historic St Paul’s Square following a rise in staff numbers from six to 18 in two years.
The award-winning digital specialists have moved to the Counting House, 3 Mary Ann Street, taking 3,000 sq ft of office space to accommodate a growing team, with design-led break-out spaces, meeting rooms and improved facilities to welcome clients.
Moving from an office above the Cherry Reds bar on John Bright Street, the new space enables Lightbox to continue its growth strategy as it works with more companies across the UK improving their digital presence through new websites, SEO and social media support.
Lightbox’s portfolio of clients includes law firm Shakespeare Martineau, Elta Group, M6Toll, property developers Seven Capital and Birmingham charity LoveBrum.
Leading clinic sk:n recently commissioned Lightbox to revitalise its digital strategy and online presence.
Chris Bull, Marketing Director, sk:n, said:
“We’re really excited to be working with Lightbox on transforming the digital Customer experience for our clients. We chose to work with Rob and the team because they are young, vibrant and ambitious – the new environment they have created reflects the culture and ethos at Lightbox.”
As part Lightbox’s continued growth ambition Anthony Bisseker has been promoted from Relationship Director to Managing Director to help manage and develop the Lightbox team and client relationships.
Mr Bisseker’s promotion was announced after high-profile businessman PJ Ellis joined Lightbox in the autumn of 2018, following a merger between Lightbox and social media agency Blake7.
Natalie Pejovic has also joined Lightbox from SuperDream as Head of Client Services. Natalie is Vice chair of the Birmingham Publicity Association.
Natalie is joined by Social Media Executive Hannah Gallop, SEO Manager Luke Sinclair and Web Developer Ashley Armstrong.
All new appointments bring with them years of agency experience in all areas of digital marketing, SEO and web design and development.
Lightbox was founded by Rob Pollard from a spare desk in a Lichfield kitchen fitting company just over ten years ago and has enjoyed continued year-on-year growth since then. The agency moved to Birmingham city centre in 2015.
Speaking about the company’s new offices, Mr Pollard said:
“Following the growth of the business over the last two years, we wanted to create an environment that allows us to create an experience for our clients. A place where they can collaborate with us to deliver high end digital products and digital strategies.
“Internal culture is important to us and the new space creates an environment that our team can be creative and collaborative with the freedom to move into different areas of the office to work on projects. The new office creates the foundation for us to build the next chapter of Lightbox putting our clients and people first to achieve our collective ambition.”
