New director joins JLL Midlands’ rating team
Property advisers JLL has appointed Chris Pockett as director, working alongside Peter Fullam in its Midlands’ Rating team, based in Birmingham.
Chris joins from GL Hearn, where he worked for four years and led the Landlord Rating team, providing bespoke specialist advice.
Commenting on the expansion of the Rating team Peter Fullam said:
“Chris will greatly add to the JLL rating offer both in the Midlands and nationally. He brings with him a great pedigree, having worked in both the public and private sector and has advised some major blue chip clients including Hammerson plc, Intu plc, Land Securities, British Land and Birmingham City Council.”
Part of a 30 strong JLL Rating team of market-facing specialists based in eight locations across the UK, Chris views the move as the opportunity to further work with high profile clients and play a major role in its continued growth.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to join JLL to build and enhance existing landlord rating instructions and will work closely other teams within JLL including Building Consultancy, Valuation and Property Asset Management to provide a seamless property consultancy service.
“JLL has a strong existing client base and I am excited about adding my expertise in this sector with our aim of JLL becoming a market leader in the delivery of landlord rating work.
“Landlord rating work is very different to standard occupier rating appeal work and I believe my experience in delivering this will be of great benefit to both existing and prospective clients”
