Solihull firm moves into Top Gear
A Solihull company providing luxury private hire coaches and executive chauffeur-driven cars is set to boost turnover after rebranding and investing £2.3 million upgrading its fleet.
LandFlight, formerly known as Silverline, says it’s well positioned for the anticipated upturn in the economy now Brexit fears have proved largely unfounded.
Akhtar Ali, who bought the company in 2012 and has been the driving force behind the significant investment, said:
“We are confident business will continue to improve and that the West Midlands in particular will have a major stake in the new growth.
“We have worked extremely hard to keep this company at the forefront of the industry.
Our fleet and driver training are of the highest possible standard and the demand for our services grows year on year.”
LandFlight, whose clients include City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO), Jaguar Land Rover, Emirates and Qatar Airways, provides a service which ranges from individual airport and city transfers to day hires and integrated group travel programmes during events.
The company, whose fleet includes coaches, buses and Mercedes cars and people carriers, has also experienced an increase of private clients and is hoping the launch of its impressive new website at www.landflight.co.uk, will further enhance its appeal.
LandFlight director Danny Matthews said:
“We have a lot of history with the name Silverline, which was established more than 40 years ago.
But with new ownership comes new ideas.
We’re aiming to build on all of our heritage and experience, making sure Landflight continues to be the leader in its field.
“Having undertaken the rebranding process, we are very mindful we needed to get our message out there.
It’s no good having an impressive service if no-one knows about it.
We have created new branding and have launched our new website, which includes a fantastic promotional video which really showcases our services.
“We have also appointed Leamington PR agency Newsline to bring cutting edge, innovative ideas to help with the transition and to get our message out there.
As well as media relations, Newsline will also be managing our social media and offering a range of platforms for LandFlight to connect with customers.”
Newsline managing director Peter Robinson said:
“We are really excited about working with LandFlight. They offer a premium service which, in many respects, sells itself.
We aim to help bring this offering to a wider audience via various social media channels and a broader PR campaign. It is an exciting time for the company, so we have high expectations.”
